Do I have to get a matrimonial valuation? 

A matrimonial property valuation is not a legal requirement. It helps to reach a fair agreement of the financial assets when separating. Our valuers will provide an independent unbiased and accurate market valuation of the property that will help to avoid disputes.   

Can I use an estate agents valuation?  

Our valuers are RICS regulated and carry out valuations in accordance of the Red Book and our reports comply with rule 35 of the Court Procedure Rules (1998). Estate agents provide market appraisals that are not usually recognised for court proceedings.
